BEST OF COACHELLA 14' (so far)

If you are geographically/economically handicapped when it comes to  attending the perfection that is the Coachella Music and Arts Festival this weekend like me, then you probably did what I did and sat behind your computer screen pretending you were there and dreaming of the day you can actually go to LA with your best friends and run around in a desert watching your favourite bands/singers/DJ's. But until that day I will continue to admire the magic of the internet and headline my own festival called COUCHella where i watch the live stream on YouTube (limited tickets, i like to stretch out on the couch...) Anyway, the first two days of weekend 1 have provided me with more reasons to want to live in Los Angeles. The performances have been amazing, the weather, the artwork, the celebrity cameos, the list goes on and on but i have picked my 10 favourite moments so far and have listed them below. 

1. HAIM- Their Coachella debut flawless despite having to cut out their 'Let Me Go' finale/drum battle thanks to someones set going over time before them, not mentioning any names *cough* A$AP Ferg *cough* oh and KE$HA was in front of the stage dancing her ass off. 

2. MS MR -Lizzy is the happiest sweetest person in the world, Max's legs have a mind of their own an their set gave me actual goosebumps, rubbing it in that I haven't seen them live yet. :(

3. CUT OUT FACES- Having huge, kind of freaky, cardboard cutouts of peoples faces seems to be all the rage this year, I have seen an Este Haim's bassface one, two Ellie Goulding ones, a Lauren Mayberry one, a Nicholas Cage one and a Dillion Francis one. Good job guys. 

4. CHVRCHES - Speaking of Lauren, chvrches set was insane, every single song of theirs is a hit and they are a must see act before you die.

5. ANDREE 3000- Still the best smile of all time.

6. LORDE - Best performance of the whole festival so far. She is god-like on stage, you literally want to bow down at her feet.

7. PHARRELL- Poor 'relly, the dust screwed up his smooth voice and by the time 'Happy' came around it was pretty much non existent. But never fear it was still and unforgettable moment for everyone there when he brought up fellow Coachella acts and other celebrity friends such as Katy Perry,Diplo, Lorde, Este Haim, Tyler the Creator and even producer Ariel Rechtstaid. (Yes he is still sporting the hat) 

8. COACHELLA SNAIL- There is a huge moving snail making its way around the festival at 22 ft per minute and its amazing, fitted with cameras and light shows a night.

9. GWEN STEFANI- Ok so we definitely aren't mad Pharrell lost his voice because, he brought out Gwen Stefani during his set, all is forgiven, and she is still fierce. 

10. REBECCA BLACK- She is there. And is taking a lot of selfies.
