While I was away I came across a band that is new and exciting, a completely fresh and innovative sound, Jungle are the disco funk revival we have all been waiting for. Jungle are a London based soul music duo, their self titled debut album dropped earlier this year and was raved about on just about every music sharing platform. Their unique and infectious sound showcases tropical percussion, 70's baselines and falsetto vocals that are too funkalicious to resist head bopping and clicking along to. Jungle, accompanied by their 5- piece band, made it onto the Glastonbury, SXSW and Splendour in The Grass lineup mid this year attracting even more fans onto the Jungle train with their passionate and high energy set leaving people in awe of their live sound. Drawing comparisons to Jungle is nearly impossible, true trail blazers who have a huge career ahead of them.
