NOMO FOMO

(pic of BBE making my Skepta dreams come true)

HEY Scardy cats. If you are sensitive to FOMO maybe don't read this post about FOMO. Which begins in 3...2...

If you have been following club tours at all this year you probably would have seen the name BBE pop up a few times. They brought out people like TroyBoi, Flosstradamus, Baauer, DJ Snake, Djemba Djemba and literally countless more.

Well, they curated their very own festival that went ahead on Saturday and I don't have a negative thing to say about it. One stage, a huge natural amipthere and even bigger acts, FOMO brought out Skepta, Boys Noize, RL Grime, Flight Facilities, Keys N Krates, Jamie XX, Mr.Carmack, Anna Lunoe, Benson and UV Boi (not gonna try do that foreign language thing at the end of his name, I could copy paste but cbf).

It was the festival Brisbane has been dying for and it couldn't have come at a better time. Here's some things I'd like you to know about my own personal experience at FOMO festival at Brisbane's Riverstage.

1. STRONG UV rays, equally strong set from UV Boi

2. Anna Lunoe's set and the way she looked watching the festival from the lil balcony (her tower) proved she was queen of the festival.

3. People LUV Keys N Krates more than you will ever know.

4. Skepta!

5. Don't cary around a roll of toilet paper incase you run into Shorty from BBK

6. Jamie xx was almost flawless. BUT C'MON DUDE! How you gonna not play Good Times. 4 real

7. The new Flight Facilities show is amazing (big up Hugo on that live auto tune). Owl Eyes was mesmerising as always

8. RL Grime looks like a god on stage and this was the best I've ever seen him play

9. The bro swerving on police from on top of a marquee during RL's set was the unofficial headliner. Almost got away, almost (see vid here

10. Attention to detail was key, the cute lil flowers on stage and umbrellas in my frozen FOMO blue drink were A+

11. Skepta.

(i would find any excuse to include Broad City into this post)
