HOLA CITY OF SQUALA!

Hey baby cakes, have you had a rough week? Can you smell the weekend? Does it taste like smoke machines? Are ya hittin' the town, going to a raging house party? Thats great! Let down your top knots gals and kick of those berkies, dudes you can do the same, this weekend is gonna be a good one, I can feel it.

I am here for the soul purpose of enlightening you about all the new fire that is kicking around right now, so you know, you don't have to feel the shame of whipping out your iPhone 4s, 5 at best, and shazaming "your song" when the DJ drops that shit.

Anyway, how's T-Pain, sorry "Nappy Boy", has a new song that was dropped yesterday and it's actually not too bad! So yeah that made it to the top of this playlist. Also M.I.A's new one that was also in last weeks oestrogen filled playlist is in here along with some creepy new Safia, Kero Kero Bonito and Diplo, as well as a few other tracks that I think are super neato.

Ingredients: Sugar Honey Iced Tea, Constipated Overweight Old Ladies.

!! This playlist may contain traces of nuts !! i.e Counting Sheep (you'll understand)

p.s if you think its a coincidence this playlist has 13 tracks, and it Friday the 13th, think again. g2g illuminati need me. bye.

WE CAN DO IT 2

Hey rubber butts, so yesterday was International Women's Day, and as cheerleader for all the gals out there it was an obligation that I make a uterus-only playlist for you. Obviously today is now Monday and therefore it is no longer Womens Day, but girls gotta werk ya'll and better late then never I say, besides I like to celebrate amazing women every day not just on March 8th :).

So in here are 50 incredibly talented and influential women who have inspired me so much over the span of my 18 years of life. These bb's come from all walks of life, some are producers some are vocalists and some are the whole package. If you actually listen to the music I post about on this blog then you will recognise most of these girls (shout outs to M.I.A who dropped a new song yesterday morning!), however some of them may be new to you, especially the ones down the producer end of the woods.

The whole boy:girl ratio in the EDM world is kind of the elephant in the room, I mean it's a bit ridiculous how male dominated it is. However, there are so so many amazing, game changing, trail blazers that are leading the way such as SOPHIE, Alison Wonderland, Grimes, UNIIQU3, Anna Lunoe, and Australia's #1 tastemaker, queen of the showcase, Nina Las Vegas, who is starting to remix and produce some wild bangers herself (with the help of old mate Swick). So take that Coachella ( a.k.a Bro-chella) and pretty much every festival everywhere.

So girls, make sure you're supporting your fellow ovary bearers and guys don't be afraid to champion these fabulous females as well.

Love your girl scout, Kritty xx

p.s Qrion, if you are reading this, just know that your instagram is legendary and also my secret wish was to cross paths with you when I was in japan, next time fair maiden :'(
